Remember when people kept food cold with a block of ice? That's the Icebox. An 8-slot insulated chest — just put a block of ice inside and the perish rate drops to 5% of normal. A single block of ice lasts 7 in-game days before it melts. Stock the shelves and your food stays fresh way longer.
